Dolphy’s family is ready now to accept his fate.
Rolly Quizon said the family members already had a meeting on Wednesday night.
As of yesterday, Dolphy is given 24 to 48 hours. Aside from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, he is also suffering from kidney problems.
On Wednesday night, Dolphy’s kidneys were no longer functioning well and on Thursday the family opted for Dolphy to undergo dialysis.
His vitals were stable overnight and that’s why his doctors suggested that the actor undergo dialysis.
It was the longest time that his vitals were stable but his condition might still fluctuate.
Dolphy had his first dialysis session at 2:40 p.m. today and will have to undergo the procedure indefinitely. This is to help support his kidney and lessens the excess fluids and toxins in his body.
Quizon also said their family was very glad when they caught Dolphy opening his eyes.
Meanwhile, Dolphy’s platelet counts remain very low and he is susceptible to hemorrhaging.
