Phillip Salvador announced that he is running for the vice governor position in Bulacan, ending speculations about his political plan.
For so many years now, Philip has been going back and forth to Bulacan and his mother, Corazon Reyes, was born and raised in Baliwag, Bulacan.
Phillip explained about his decision to gun for a seat in Bulacan and not Pasay as rumored earlier.
The actor thought about it thoroughly and will run for public office in his mother’s native place.
Of course, Phillip sought the advice of his actor-politician friends, senators Jinggoy Estrada and Bong Revilla.
He did not aspire to become a governor because the actor explained that he wants to start from the bottom.
Although he’s been asked to run for public office in the past, it is only now that Phillip is answering the call.
He does not see the former actor, Daniel Fernando as a political opponent.
