Veteran Broadcast Journalist Angelo Castro Jr. Succumbs to Cancer at 67

Angelo Castro Jr. succumbed to lung cancer on Thursday.

Castro Jr. was 67 years old and he died at St. Luke’s Medical Center.

The veteran broadcast journalist was an anchor of ABS CBN News Channel’s (ANC) ‘The World Tonight.’

Castro had also a flourishing TV and film career before becoming a broadcast journalist.

He was the son of former Press Secretary Angelo Castro, Sr., the father of actor Diego Castro and the husband of June Keithley.
