Billy Crawford is scheduled to leave the country early next year to continue his music career in Europe.
Crawford revealed that it is not as easy as it sounds because it will have a process of trying to get recognized again. The TV host-singer will be away for four months.
His relationship with actress-singer Nikki Gil will not be affected because she might visit him there.
In 2001, Crawford made his European breakthrough with the release of his single, ‘Trackin,’ which sold 750,000 copies in France and was certified platinum.
It also became a hit in the Netherlands, in Belgium, in Switzerland and in Germany including his second single, ‘When You Think About Me,’ was also a big hit.
Crawford’s fame waned after his second album, ‘Big City,’ failed to match earlier triumphs and in 2007, he returned to the Philippines in 2007 for GMA-7’s dance reality show, ‘M.O.V.E.’
In 2008, Crawwford transferred to ABS-CBN, where he became a regular talent, appearing on several of the network’s shows like ‘ASAP’ and was eventually tapped to host ‘Pinoy Dream Academy’ and co-hosted ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ with Luis Manzano.
