Juan Manuel Marquez, Mexican boxer says he has the capability to beat Manny Pacquiao in their Saturday fight.
Pacquiao will defend his World Boxing Organization welterweight crown against Marquez.
Marquez was knocked down three times by Pacquiao in their first fight in 2004 but rallied to earn a draw. Pacquiao sent Marquez to the canvas again in a 2008 rematch and edged out a victory by one vote.
Marquiz said, he had beaten Pacquiao the first two fights but did not get the decision, but this time he will beat him again and will also get the victory.
The Filipino superstar says Marquez’s gaining weight will make him slower and more vulnerable to Pacquaio’s punching speed and power.
Pacquiao said, Marquiz is getting bigger and will become his big target.
It is not easy to put on more weight and maintain your speed because it’s difficult and it will get you slower in speed, he added.
Meanwhile, Freddie Roach is confident the Pacquiao-Marquez rivalry ends on Saturday (Sunday Philippine Time).
