On the last day of Manny Pacquiao’s training, Oscar de la Hoya dropped by.
De La Hoya predicted that the Filipino will have a smashing victory this Saturday night against Juan Manuel Marquez at the MGM Grand.
The ‘Golden Boy’ said that Manny is now too fast and too strong and he’s now in a whole different level.
De La Hoya was the boxer who announced his retirement two months after being stopped by Pacquiao on Dec. 6, 2008.
De La Hoya revealed that while Marquez has been facing ‘ordinary fighters, the 32-year-old Pacquiao has been taking out guys who are naturally bigger like Shane Mosley, himself, Miguel Cotto.
De la Hoya said that there are two other factors that will also work against Marquez, his age and gaining weight too fast.
Nevertheless, De la Hoya warned Pacquiao not to take Marquez lightly.
