Bianca Gonzalez, Atom Araullo, and Kim Atienza, together with scientists went to the country’s mountains and seas for a documentary, ‘Sa Dagat at Bundok: The Philippine Biodiversity Expedition’ on Studio 23.
They visit the waters of Taal Lake, and trek through the rainforests of Mt. Banahaw and Angat Watershed Reservation.
The specimens they got would be tested to further analyze the state of biodiversity in the country today
and the sample would be analyzed in San Francisco to come up with their findings.
The finding would find ways on how to conserve the natural resources of the country, and could aid in finding solutions to global warming and climate change.
It would pave the way for advances in the medical field, agriculture and even commercially valuable products.
