Veteran actress Pilar Pilapil went to London last week to shoot a movie about migration.
Her case about the carjacking and stabbing incident she went through last April is not yet over.
Pilapil requested Fil-Briton filmmaker Jowee Morel, the director of the film ‘Leona Calderon’, to delay their departure for a week, to attend to the case and other relevant matters.
Pilapil will play the lead role in ‘Leona Calderon’.
Pilapil left the country with husband-pastor Bernie Peñas and will stay with Morel’s British friend, Simon Luckin.
The movie was given to Pilapil on the day she was kidnapped, threatened, and stabbed to near death.
