‘Kinse’ is a television special project where Angel Aquino will strip down her clothes as sign of protest against human rights violation.
Kinse is a four to six-minute short film that tackles human rights.
These films are directed by Erik Matti, Carlitos Siguion-Reyna and Paulo Villaluna.
Angel plays the character of a strong and glamorous woman but after she takes off her clothes, she has bruises all over her body, a sign of a battered woman.
Angel says she can relate to this film because her mother is a battered wife.
His father used to make all the decisions in the family and when something went wrong, his father sometimes physically abused her mother.
Angel hopes that this film can bring awareness on the issue of human rights.
This project is a follow-up to the successful and controversial ‘amBisyon2010’ – it tacked the 10 issues that Filipinos should consider in choosing the next leaders of the nation.
This project will be anchored by Angel Aquino and will be shown on May.
