After coming out as a lesbian, Charice Pempengco hopes to reignite her Hollywood career.
Right now, Pempengco is in the United States for a series of big shows, including the recent Typhoon Yolanda relief concert in New York together with Jessica Sanchez and other Filipino artists.
She also gets star billing on the original motion picture soundtrack of ‘The Swan Princess: A Royal Family Tale,’ the latest chapter in the popular animated film series.
The international singer will sing its theme song, ‘Right Where I Belong.’
They said that what is really important was they love her talent.
This is not the only project lined up for Charice in Hollywood because in August, she will be one of the headliners in a music festival together with Aaron Carter, Belinda Carlisle and Mary Lambert.
When she arrived in the US, Charice was booked for interviews by American media outlets.
Now that she has peace of mind, Charice is more focused on her career, although she admitted that she has yet to reconcile with her mother, Raquel.
Charice’s mom has been vocal of her disapproval of her relationship with fellow singer Alyssa Quijano.
A lot of people are telling her that she is still young but Charice knows she is not getting any younger.
She is now happy and does not want to be distracted by personal issues or the issues of other people.
Now she just wants to work hard for her future.
Charice is also preparing for her first solo world concert tour.
After the tour, she plans to release an OPM album.
She is also currently looking for materials and when the right time comes, she plans to record another album in the US.
