The Aussie-Filipina actress and host of ABS-CBN’s Showtime was reported to have gone on the edge while hosting a bachelorette party for a friend at the Prive Luxury Club at The Fort Strip in Bonifacio Global City last November 23.

Curtis’ Twitter account has already reached 6 million followers after the incident.

The companies still continue using her as an endorser because the long-term benefits of her star power outweigh the short-term complications brought about by the incident.

The said controversy hounding the top celebrity endorser unlikely to sully the brands that have hitched on to her popularity to make a sale, according to marketing experts.

Some people believe that her actions were justified.

Curtis’ apology would appease even those who believe she had acted excessively and
the incident caused no significant or long-term damage to anyone, since Curtis’ indiscretion was an instance of poor judgment under the influence of alcohol.

At present, Anne Curtis ranked sixth while singer-actress Sarah Geronimo ranked seventh.

Kris Aquino is the country’s top celebrity endorser, according to a listing by Philippine Daily Inquirer.

The list does not include boxing champ Manny Pacquiao who is already in Forbes’ global celebrity endorsers list.

Kris is followed by Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz, who is known for his instant noodles and biscuits TV ads.

Kim Chiu ranked third in the list because advertisers say her youthfulness makes her an effective endorser for different products.

Piolo Pascual and Judy Ann Santos ranked fourth and fifth, respectively.

Anne Curtis ranked sixth while singer-actress Sarah Geronimo ranked seventh.

Carmina Villaroel, who always does commercials with her children and husband Zoren Legaspi, placed 8th.

ABS-CBN stars Robin Padilla, KC Concepcion and Daniel Padilla placed 9th, 10th and 11th, respectively.

The last spot went to comedian Michael V, who is known for his liquid dish washing TV commercials.

Last September, Aquino, Boy Abunda, Vic Sotto, Villaroel and her family, and Coco Martin were among the most influential celebrity endorsers that were named by by the 3rd EdukCircle Awards.
