Marian Rivera Surprisingly Calls Dingdong Dantes As Her Better Half

Marian Rivera surprisingly called her boyfriend, Dingdong Dantes her kabiyak in a public speech during the awarding ceremony of the 1st Gintong Palad Public Service Awards.

Both Rivera and Dingdong were given awards of the said ceremony that was held at the One Esplanade in Pasay City last November 20.

Dingdong was not able to attend the awards night because he has a prior commitment, so Marian was the one who thanked the awards committee on behalf of Dingdong.

She said she is more in love with Dingdong now because of the charity works he has done, especially with his YES Pinoy Foundation.

The actor is also an active member of the Philippine Red Cross.

The Gintong Palad Public Service Awards are being given by the Movie Writers Welfare Foundation to individuals who selflessly reach out to their fellowmen in times of natural calamities and disasters such as the Bohol earthquake and Typhoon Yolanda.

Aside from Marian and Dingdong, other awardees from the entertainment industry were Arnold Clavio, Ricky Reyes, Arnell Ignacio, Ara Mina, Isko Moreno, Diether Ocampo, Aga Muhlach, Robin Padilla and Angel Locsin.

In the field of politics, the awardees are Batangas Governor Vilma Santos and Quezon City Congressman Alfred Vargas.

In business, Manny V. Pangilinan and Miguel Belmonte were given the awards while in institutional, the recipients were Fr. Anton Pascual of Caritas Manila and Boots Anson Roa of Mowelfund.

In the networks category, the awardees are Mel Tiangco of Kapuso Foundation, Gina Lopez of Bantay Bata Foundation), Menchie Silvestre (Alagang Kapatid Foundation) and Daniel Razon of Kamanggagawa Foundation.
