In a magazine article a writer described a good samaritan who auctioned off muscle car for Yolanda relief efforts.
Patrick Everett Tadeo posted on Monday and reported that one individual is donating a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle to raise fund for the victims of typhoon Yolanda.
His source would not give away the identity of the owner other than the fact that the owner is a girl and is described as rather cute and is somewhat connected to ABS-CBN.
The outcome led to a photo posted on Instagram and a picture posted on Angel’s official Facebook fan page.
Angel did not initially want to reveal that she was the owner of the car but a car magazine revealed her name when they researched about the car’s owner.
It said that the owner of the car had originally asked someone from the car industry to sell the car to a direct buyer, with the proceeds going to the Sagip Kapamilya Foundation but the owner changed her mind and now the car is to be auctioned off, with the proceeds still going to typhoon Yolanda victims.
Until now, Locsin continued to call on car collectors to make a bid for the said car which she put on the market lately.
The award-winning actress said she had to go to another country in order to buy that car and personally check it.
She added that the car is one of her favorites out of her collection.
She believes the proceeds from the car sale will benefit a lot of people in the typhoon-ravaged areas.
Aside from putting her car in the auction, Angel is also very active in volunteering for Red Cross.
She also asked some of her endorsements to provide relief goods to the victims.
The actress is also very proud to be part of ‘Tulong Na, Tabang Na, Tayo Na!’ benefit concert.
She is thankful to ABS-CBN big bosses for supporting the said concert.
Asked about how she was able to move on from her recent breakup with Azkals team captain Phil Younghusband, Angel said she is just showing the best of Filipinos.
