The former Pinoy Big brother housemate, Jason Gainza is thankful to Boy Abunda for allowing him to play Tito Bhoy.
There is no doubt that Gainza can imitate Abunda to the last detail, from Abunda’s physical appearance down to his vocal tones.
But Jason admits that it is not an easy thing to do to move, laugh and talk like Boy on-cam when he portrays ‘Tito Bhoy’ on ABS-CBN’s Banana Nite segment ‘Ihaw Na.’
Jason needs to be fluent in English because people all know how fluent Tito Boy is.
He always try to be fluent but sometimes his grammar fails and it is good that it’s a comedy show, so it comes out funny all the time.
Jason reveals that Boy is not at all offended at his impersonation and the television host is impressed at how Jason is able to copy his every move and he even guested in Ikaw Na! as Tito Bhoy, which turned out to be a hit on YouTube.
When they saw each other face-to-face, Boy told him that there is nothing to be afraid of because he is visibly amused.
Jason also plans to invite Boy to guest in Ihaw Na and the first question he will ask him is to ask if Tito Boy believes in same-sex marriage.
Meanwhile, Jason is aware that being an actor is a serious business and he never ceases to improve his craft by attending acting workshops.
He is also good at drama acting and recently seen acting alongside veterans Ronaldo Valdez, Pilar Pilapil, Eddie Gutierrez and Cherry Pie Picache in Ina Kapatid Anak.
In the future, Jason plans to impersonate Kapamilya ace reporter Gus Abelgas.
