Nora Aunor Still Conquers the Hearts of Fans

Nora Aunor is still the Superstar during TV5 fans day on Sunday.

Aunor still conquered the hearts of the screaming fans at the height of the festive ‘Salamat Kapatid -The All-Star TV5 Fans Day’ at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Her fans braved the non-stopped rains just to make it to the day-long event hosted by Mr. Fu and ‘Talentadong Pinoy’ Hall of Famer Makata Tawanan.

They formed a tight press around the multi-awarded veteran actress.

People hoped to get a kiss or a touch from the Superstar.

Nora was last seen on TV5’s ‘Sa Ngalan Ng Ina.’

She happily allowed a few to get close before taking the stage and thanked them. She also announced that more projects with TV5 were lined up for her this year.

Some ‘Talentadong Pinoy’ alumni showed off their skills during the meet and greet, with ventriloquist Wanlu and his monkey puppet Enchong Go.

Beatbox Gor sang a different kind of melody using his beat-boxing abilities, while Leah Patricio and Rhyzza Nicol Kafilas crooned to the tunes of Adele‚Äôs ‘Rolling in the Deep’ and Alicia Keys’ ‘No One,’ respectively.

Yoyo Tricker, the first Ultimate Talentado, used a number of yoyos, as well as his knack for dancing and entertained the audience.

There was Rufa Mae Quinto, Alex Gonzaga, Alice Dixson, BB Gandanghari, Gladys Reyes, and Edgar Allan Guzman from the ‘Enchanted Kingdom.’

Lorna Tolentino of ‘Third Eye’ was a breath of fresh air, gorgeous even as she was dressed simply in a white blouse and jeans. She was joined by co-star Jenny Miller, who encouraged the audience to watch the suspense series.

Jay Manalo and Bing Loyzada of ‘Isang Dakot Na Luha’ and ‘Felina,’ were also there.

Empoy, Andrew E., Martin Escudero, and Alwyn Uytingco of the ‘Kapitan Awesome’ team performed an energetic dance number and had their photos taken with the crowd.

The ‘Face to Face’ dance crew, as well as co-host Hans Mortel, also engaged the fans in a fun game.
