Nora Aunor Flies to Boston for Throat Operation

Nora Aunor left for Boston, Massachusetts to undergo a throat operation on Jan. 5, hoping to get back her lost singing voice.

Last February 2010, Aunor’s ‘golden voice’ was reportedly damaged and leaving it husky due to a botched face lift surgery in Japan.

A month after the operation, she will gear for more projects in 2012, including a film by Brillante Mendoza. Nora’s manager Boy Palma revealed that the superstar has already met with award-winning director, Brillante Mendoza.

Nora spent Christmas as well as the New Year in the country with her children.

Nora will have an upcoming documentary film. The man behind the award-winning independent films like ‘Lola’ and ‘Kinatay’ planned the said documentary.

Another documentary-film, ‘Superstar’ by director Tikoy Aguiluz is also in the works. And earlier, she is also working with Director Aguiluz in ‘El Presidente,’ an Emilio Aguinaldo biopec.
