Dingdong Dantes Shrugs off Allegations in Winning Best Actor Awards

Actor Dingdong Dantes shrugged off allegations that he did not deserve to win this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival Best Actor award in the movie ‘Segunda Mano.’

Dantes is not affected by his detractors, saying that people have different opinions but he respects the institution that that gives him recognition.

That ‘win’ was important to him, it can testify that he gives his best performance in his work and that he is doing the right thing.

Meanwhile, Laguna Governor ER Ejercito, the lead star of ‘Manila King: The Asiong Salonga Story’, expressed his disappointment over losing the Best Actor award.

Dantes wished that he was at the MMFF Awards Night last Wednesday because he was in Boracay with his family.

Kris Aquino is Dantes’ co-producer and leading lady in the said movie.
