Nora Aunor has vowed to help the Philippine Medical Association (PMA) promote its ‘Smoke-free Philippines’ campaign.
During her recent meeting with Fr. Robert Reyes,the PMA volunteer she gives her interest to be an advocate of the said cause.
But for her to be an effective advocate, she added that she has to overcome her smoking habit first, and serve as a role model as well.
In return, the PMA has extended its eagerness to help Aunor quit smoking and said their organization is willing to help the veteran actress stop smoking.
Recently, Aunor was rushed to the hospital because of fatigue and other external factors like the weather.
Aunor was diagnosed by doctor to have pneumonia and advised to rest for 2 weeks and to stop smoking.
